Thomas "Tommy" Sullivan Obituary

Thomas Anthony Sullivan Jr, 58, passed away peacefully, after his 1 ½ year long battle with cancer, January 16, 2024 in Billings, Montana, with his wife, Cindy by his side.

Tommy was born in Thermopolis, Wyoming July 30, 1965 to Thomas A. “Sully” and Jeanne Lee (Agnew) Sullivan.  After graduating from HSCHS in 1983, Tommy moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where he played golf for Grand Canyon College & Glendale Community College.  He later got his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing & Advertising at the University of Phoenix.

Tommy eventually moved back to Thermopolis where he served the community in many ways.  He was the Golf Pro at the Legion Town & Country Club for several years, enlisting his father’s help. He worked for Mortimore Ambulance & Nielsen Oil company, where he Co-Owned & Managed the gas station and tire shop alongside his wife, Cindy.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter Tatum and his parents, Tom & Jeanne Sullivan.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Cindy, son Matthew (Lara), daughter Erin, son Daniel (Tiffinni), daughter Sequoia, son Sage and 6 grandchildren, as well as sisters Terrie (Eric), Kathy (TC) & Patti (Terry) along with many nieces & nephews.

His true happy place was spent with family & friends at Boysen Lake.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held July 5th at the First Baptist Church in Thermopolis at 10:30 am.
