Christopher Matthew Bowman, 40, died  November 13, 2019 at his residence in Thermopolis.

Born March 21, 1979 in Laramie, Wyoming he was the son of Matthew and Lisa (Allen) Bowman.  Attending school in Thermopolis, he graduated in 1998.  He enlisted in the United States Navy.  From there he traveled doing odd jobs from Georgia to Arizona.  Returning to his hometown, he worked construction jobs, cooked at One Eyed Buffalo, then worked with Slagle Construction.

Chris’s pride and joy were his three children, Matt, Jenny and Chris.  He enjoyed fishing, golfing, camping and painting and drawing artwork.  A jokester, he was kind to anyone.

Family remaining include his parents, Matt and Lisa of Thermopolis; children, Matthew of Arkansas, Christopher,Jr  and Jennifer Bowman, both  of Missouri; brothers, Jason and Cory, both of Thermopolis and sister, Jennifer Reinke of Sioux Falls, SD.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Merton and Sherron Bowman and Merle and Juanita Allen.

A family gathering was held Tuesday, November 19, 10:00 am at the Risen Son Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Johnson officiating.
