Clay Shane Little

Clay Shane Little, 57, was taken home by his Lord, November 23, 2017 surrounded by his family.

Born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, October 4, 1960 he was the son of Curtis and Marlys (Wickenham) Little.

While attending high school in Thermopolis, he worked as a taxidermist with Dan Herring for 14 years.  He met his wife, Susan Anderson, in Thermopolis and they were married in 1994.

Clay was an oil field worker for Merit Energy.  An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed attending rendezvous, wild west re-creations and classic firearms.  He spent many summers camping with his family or hunting with his children.

Though cancer beat his body, Clay’s spirit grew ever stronger through the word of Christ and in the end, he knew the joys of the Lord far outweighed his suffering on earth and he trusted in that joy until his final breath.

Loved ones cherishing his memory include his wife, Susan, of 26 years; son, Jared and daughter Hayden; brother Tracey Little and sister, Jody Frances; as well as three nephews, Cody and Nate Little and Sean Frances.

Funeral services will be held December 1, 2017, 2:00 pm at the Risen Son Southern Baptist Church in Thermopolis.
