Eugene Lambert Obituary

Eugene Phillip “Gene” Lambert, Jr, 71, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at his residence in Thermopolis, Wyoming following a period of declining health.

Born August 28, 1946 in Denver, CO he was the son of Eugene and Gloria (Golden) Lambert.  After high school he served in the US Marine Corp from 1964-1968.   He served in Vietnam prior to being honorably discharged in 1968.  From 1968 to 1970 he was an inactive reserve.

He and his companion, Debra Gibson, were together for 17 years prior to parting ways.

An Outdoor Lighting Foreman, he was employed in Denver with Sturgeon Electric Company.  In 2014, upon retirement, he moved to Thermopolis where he and his family had come many years for vacationing and lots of fishing.

Gene enjoyed family, fishing, hunting, camping, reading and sports.

Preceded in death by Father Eugene Sr. and son Eugene Phillip Lambert III (“Little Jeepie”)

Survived by his children, Ricky Lambert, Jarred Gibson and Destiny Gibson; brothers, Kenny, Ronnie and Jim Lambert; sister, Lynn Lambert; three grandchildren, Alexzandria, Joleiah and Austen of Denver and his companion, Lourette McPherson of Alaska.

Memorial services will be held September 21, 9:30 AM at the Fort Logan Cemetery in Denver.
