L. Faye Cook

Louise FAYE Cook, 87, passed away October 12, 2019 at the Thermopolis Rehabilitation and Wellness where she had resided the past year.

Faye was born August 7, 1932 in Lovell, Wyoming, the daughter of Charles and Betsy (Carey) Holder.

For much of Faye’s life she was a waitress employed by the Sideboard Café.  On January 13, 1972 she married Charlie C. Cook in Thermopolis.  The couple raised two daughters. Mr. Cook passed away in 1988.  Faye enjoyed gardening, "loving on her family", adopting stray animals, especially cats and dogs, and rides through the buffalo pasture adoring the babies that were born.

Those cherishing her memory are her children: Kathy Somers-Schirm, Joann Rygwalski and David Smith, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren

Cremation has taken place.  Memorial services will be held at a later date.
