Peggy Colt Kirsch, 79, passed away suddenly Saturday, January 4, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital.
Born August 1, 1940 in Grand Junction, Colorado she was one of two children of William and Allene (Stansel) Colt. After high school she acquired an Associate Degree. She was employed by Century Exploration as Vice President of the Land Division in Denver.
Coming to Thermopolis ten years ago, she became active in the Foster Grandparent Program and was a board member with the Hope Agency. She was a member of the Risen Son Baptist Church. Peggy enjoyed boating, water skiing, visiting, children and all her extended family.
On February 14, 2015 she married James D. Kirsch in Thermopolis.
Cherishing her memory are her husband, Jim; son, Jeff Sturgeon; sister, Betty Lyman; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Pricilla Sturgeon.
Memorial services will be Saturday, January 11, 11:00 am at Community Federated Church with Pastor Ross Kershaw officiating. Inurnment will be in the Denver area at the Mother Cabrini Shrine.
