Helen, you most likely do not remember me/us as we date back many years, to East Marietta Christian Church. While our personal association was minimal, memories are forever. The baby you credited me for blessing the church with (now 43 & the mother of 2) will forever be linked with those special days & fond remembrances. Much has changed thru the years while much has not. I remember Roger standing by my side at my grandmother's grave - another forever memory. We have thought of/remembered you both thru the years, glad to have known you and proud you enjoyed a seemingly fulfilled life. So sorry this contact follows bereavement tho linked with prayers. Bless you!

Sorry for your loss.  Roger was my favorite pastor at Broadwell. He was instrumental in leading me to accept Christ.  He was also a good positive role model to me, as he drove the bus. One of the stabilizing forces to me as a teen, with a less than positive home life.

Thank you brother Roger.  May you Rest In Peace.  See you on the other side.

Helen and family,
Please know that you have my deepest sympathy at this time. Roger was a sweetheart that I greatly enjoyed taking care of while at the Worland nursing home. I greatly enjoyed the talks we had. He was truly blessed with a loving and devoted wife. May God bless you and comfort you.  Michelle Revoir

Please accept my words of sympathy and condolences. Having faith in Almighty God does not mean that we no longer cry or that we forget, but God’s promises give us hope that comforts us. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28, "... all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out ". Jesus was referring to the resurrection; this is our hope gives us power to go on.  Revelation 21 : 3,4 " With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say :' Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. ' "  My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.
