Steven Grant Weaver

Steven Grant “Steve” Weaver, 61, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital after a short battle of bladder cancer.

Born August 7, 1958 in Sheridan, Wyoming, he was the son of Virgil and Anna Mae (Dykes) Weaver.  Coming to Thermopolis as a youngster, he graduated from H.S. Co. High School.  Following graduation he was employed by well servicing companies including McCumber Well Service for twenty years. 

On November 17, 1979, Steve married Kimberly Sue Beyette in Thermopolis.  He was easygoing, known for his quick wit.  He enjoyed camping, guns, ATV riding, tinkering with cars and Derby cars.

Those cherishing his memory include his mother, Anna Mae Arcoren of Buffalo, wife, Kimberly Sue Weaver of Thermopolis, son, Daynon of Lamar, CO, twin sister, Suzy (Jim) Hulet of Buffalo and an “adopted” brother, Aaron Shinost of Thermopolis.  Steve was preceded in death by his father, stepfather, grandparents and family members.

A Celebration of Steve’s Life will be held Saturday, November 16, 11:00 am at the Community Church Hall in Thermopolis with Pastor Ross Kershaw officiating
