Curtis Earl Seefeldt, 82, died Sunday, December 5, 2021, peacefully at his home under the watchful care of his nephew, Lance Weaver, in Thermopolis, Wyoming.
Born February 1, 1939, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he was one of two children of Earl Seefeldt and Anita (Helkendorf). He served in the US Navy (Seabees) from 1958 to 1962 with an honorable discharge. For much of his life, Curtis was self-employed as a carpenter.
In 1979, he married Margaret May Lewandowski in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Curtis was a Universal Universalist, NRA, Wyoming State Muzzle Loading Association, Daniel Boone Hunt Club member. He enjoyed woodworking, reading, cooking, tobacco pipe collecting, trap shooting, collecting muzzleloader guns, and was an avid coffee drinker visiting coffee shops throughout Wisconsin, Wyoming, and Colorado.
Family survivors include children Michael (Carol) Lewandowski of Sheboygan, WI; Debbie Graham of Granite Falls, NC; Martin (TamiJo) Lewandowski of Hubertus, WI; Diana (Kevin) Hoffmann of Cascade, WI; and sister, Marilyn (Doug) Olsen, children Julie, Heather, and Paul of Pewaukee, WI; brother Phillip Seefeldt of WI, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Margaret, of 29 years.
No cremation interment services are being held at this time.
