Daniel Francis Myers, 65, died Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at his residence in Thermopolis after a battle with liver cancer.
Born May 15, 1956 in Denver, Colorado, he was the son of Neil and Gladys (Turner) Myers. After graduation and earning an associate degree he joined the US Navy.
Following an honorable discharge he managed a restaurant/bar until accepting employment with Village Homes/Ryland Homes building new homes, a job lasting 30 years. After retirement he established DLM Solutions, a mobile notary business.
After knowing and being cared for by Magrina “Maggy” Chepkoech for four years, they were married February 15, 2021 in Thermopolis. They moved to Thermopolis from Colorado in 2019.
A member of the Risen Son Southern Baptist Church, Dan enjoyed hockey, golf, racket ball and fishing. He was an amazing father to Kyrie, full of humor and adored his wife.
He is survived by his wife, Maggy, daughter, Kyrie, one grandchild and a close friend, Christine Martin. Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, Russ.
A private family/friend get-together will be held at a later time.
