Elsie Emma McMichael, 92, passed away Monday, August 19, 2019, at Thermopolis Rehabilitation and Wellness. She had been a resident of Wyoming Pioneer Home the past seven years.
Born May 26, 1927 in McLaughlin, South Dakota, her mother died at birth and her father was Mr. Wagner.
An ambitious woman, she owned and operated the B & B Restaurant in Isabelle, S.D. for 20 years. Moving to Thermopolis, WY in 1970 she purchased and operated the Owl Bar for 20 years. Thereafter she enjoyed being a Foster Grandparent at BOCE and the School District #1.
Elsie married Earl McMichael in Thermopolis. She was a member of Eagles Auxiliary and the VFW. She enjoyed cards, Bingo, cooking, and was a football fan especially the Denver Broncos.
Survivors include her son, Darrell (Catherine) Drageset of Thermopolis; granddaughters Darci and Delarie and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by all her siblings and her husband, Earl.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
