Eugene Dale Knecht

Eugene Dale Knecht, 84, died September 6, 2023 at Hot Springs Health hospital in Thermopolis after a period of failing health. 

Born February 25, 1939 in Martin, South Dakota, he was the son of John and Lillian (Hines) Knecht.  Following high school he attended Northern State Teachers College in Aberdeen, SD for a year.

For most of John’s life he farmed/ranched until selling his place.

Survivors include three brothers, all of Rapid City, SD, John, Don and Gary Knecht.  Sister, Sharon Pauly, preceded him in death.

Cremation has taken place and cremains will be sent to his brother, John, in South Dakota for burial.
