James Evan “Jim” Dodds, 63, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital in Thermopolis.
Born August 23, 1956 in Thermopolis, he was the son of Robert and Laura (Beeler) Dodds. He graduated from Thermopolis High School in 1975. As a youth he enjoyed building forts, adventures in Thermopolis, and fishing with his friend, Mark Whitt and his Dad.
Self-employed, Jim worked in Montana, Oregon, Arizona and returned to Thermopolis. He enjoyed carpentry and loved music, once being a DJ. A jokester, he was fun-loving and loved Halloween. An animal lover he fed many strays.
Those cherishing his memory include his daughters, Briana (Greg) Wagner of Centennial, CO and Christina (Tyler) Hank of Aurora, CO; sister, Julie Dodds of Thermopolis; grandchildren, Colten, Ella, Emme, Camden and Kaycen and former wife, Jodi (Bruce) Bendlin Wasserman of Aurora, CO. Jim was preceded in death by his parents.
Private inurnment services at Riverside Cemetery will be held Monday, May 4, 10:00 AM. The family suggests you plant a tree in Jim’s memory.
