Jane Lynn Oldridge

Jane Lynn Oldridge, 69, of Thermopolis, WY, passed away in her bed unexpectedly the morning of Friday, August 6, 2021 after a nice day planning her favorite activities, a shopping trip to Cody, Wyoming, and a visit to the LDS Temple in Billings MT.

Born June 7, 1952 in London, Ontario, she was the daughter of Clifford and Henrietta (Doan) Oldridge. Jane became a Canadian Southern Belle when her family moved to St Petersburg, Florida when she was 12 years old.  After graduating from the University of South Florida with a degree in Southern American History, Jane worked at GTE/Verizon for 32 years. After her retirement, Jane was enticed to move to Thermopolis, Wyoming to be near her former GTE coworker, Andrea Linn, who had moved to Thermopolis earlier.

Jane, a self-professed Princess, enjoyed shopping, eating out and caring for her dogs, Louis, Chloe, and Jazzy.  In her free time she also loved to knit and color.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Gary. 

Jane was a member of the Church of  Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, the Thermopolis Eastern Star Chapter, and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).
