Jay Aldo Sanford, 66, passed away suddenly, Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Hot Springs Health in Thermopolis.
The son of Wayne and Marilyn (Longmuire) Sanford, Jay was born January 22, 1955 in Thermopolis, WY. The family later moved to Reno, Nevada.
When Jay returned to Thermopolis in 1976 he was employed at the lumber yard before becoming custodian at Hot Springs County High School where he worked many years until retiring.
He is survived by his sister, Alicia (Mark) Smith of Reno, Nevada; niece and nephew, Mandy and Adam Smith of Reno and cousins, Basil Sorenson and Mary Ellen Farmer of Thermopolis. He was preceded in death by his parents.
