Larry Gene Applegate

Larry Applegate, 72, died Monday, September 25, 2023 at his residence in Thermopolis, Wyoming.  

He had just celebrated his birthday, September 9.  Born in 1951 in Basin, Wyoming he was the son of Roy and Iris (Cravens) Applegate.  Due to his disability he later lived at the Lander Training Center.  In 1992 Larry moved to Thermopolis establishing residency at the Big Horn Enterprises where he made many friends.

He loved music, dancing to musical toys, his morning coffee, feeding/watching fish in their tank and things that light up.

Survivors include his brother, Lynn Applegate of Orem, Utah and a few nieces and nephews.  Larry was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joyce Bader of Thermopolis.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2:00 PM at the Mt. View Cemetery in Basin, WY.
