Larry Edward Gureski

Larry Edward Gureski, 55, passed away suddenly February 14, 2017 at his father’s residence in Shoshoni.

Born October 3, 1961 in Thermopolis, Wyoming, he was the son of Larry D. and Donna Mae (Apland) Gureski.  He graduated from Shoshoni High School in 1980.  He married Zelda Blumenshine in 1979 and the couple was later divorced.

For most of his life he was a heavy equipment operator until injured on the job.  His last employment was with Mel’s Water Service.

His interests included hunting, fishing and building race cars.

In the late 90’s he married Virgine Piris.

Loved ones remaining include his father, of Shoshoni; wife of Mills, WY; son, Brian (Tara) Blumenshine of Riverton; stepson, Glenn (CJ) Apuna and stepdaughter, Debbie Estrada; brothers, Don (Carol) and Darin (Marette) of Cody; three grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Mae.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, February 21, 11:00 – 1:30 followed by a service at 2 PM at Mortimore Funeral Home.
