Myrtle Ailene West, 85, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at her residence in Hot Springs County, Missouri Flat Road. She had recently been diagnosed with brain cancer.
Born in 1932 in Gordon, Nebraska, she was the daughter of Charles E. and Gladys (Britton) Park. The family soon moved to California where Myrtle and her siblings were raised.
Her occupation most of her life was as an electrician for aircraft companies, the last being Lockheed Aircraft. She retired in 1995. Her interests included sewing and quilting.
She married Woodrow William West in 1994 in Las Vegas, NV. The couple moved to Thermopolis in 1998.
Loved ones remaining include her husband of 23 years; sons, Dan, Bill and George Andrews, all of California; daughter, Carrie Jenkins of Colorado; numerous grandchildren, one great grandchild and several siblings.
No services will be held. Cremation has taken place.
