Robert “Bobby” Burns Lewis, 62, of Thermopolis, WY, passed away on November 9th, 2021 at Warren Group Home. Bobby was raised in Cody, WY, but at age 12 he moved to be a part of the community of Thermopolis for the next 50 years.
Bobby loved doing things with the folks from Big Horn Enterprises; picnics, group events, like Games of Ability, and group trips like going to the Black Hills. He enjoyed them all. Bobby enjoyed flying and looked forward to seeing his brother, and his family in Seattle, WA., now currently residing in Lake Alfred, Florida. Bobby accepted the Lord at age 25 and for the rest of his life, he enjoyed church.
Bobby was a laborer all around Thermopolis doing various things like cleaning rooms for Holiday Inn, doing clean-up of the campgrounds in the canyon, as well as working in Big Horn Enterprises in different capacities.
Bobby is preceded in death by his father Osce Cecil Lewis and his mother Mable Loraine Keyes Lewis. He is survived by his brother Osce Lewis Jr. (Betty)of Lake Alfred, Florida, niece Natasha Lewis of Seatac, WA, and his nephew Adam Lewis Charette (Michelle)of Federal Way, WA.
Memorial services will be held at Big Horn Enterprises at 641 Warren Street, Thermopolis, WY., on Thursday, December. 2, 2021 at 2 p.m.
