Roy Richins Obituary

Roy C. Richins, age 85, of Thermopolis, WY passed away peacefully on Monday, February the 27th, 2023 at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital of natural causes.

He was born September 26, 1937 to Kenneth and Esther Richins in Ogden, UT. He married Frances Stephens September 24th 1960. Their marriage and life was blessed by three sons.

He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1962. Roy retired from Iron Workers Local 27 and the Uinta County Road and Bridge. Roy was a perfectionist who could build anything and enjoyed life to the fullest through simple pleasures; ranching, hunting, and fishing.

Roy is survived by his wife, Frances Richins, his three sons; Kendell (Peggy), Steve (Sandy), Wes (Delsy), 7 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ray and his grandson Josh.

Family and friends may gather May 20th in Fort Bridger at the Legion Hall to celebrate Roy’s life.

Cremation has taken place. Mortimore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
