Suzanne Morehead, 83, died December 4, 2021 at her home on Owl Creek where she had been cared for by her great grandson, Caleb Edwards and his companion, Kurstie this past year.
Born September 19, 1938 in Thermopolis, she was one of four daughters of Kermit Johnson and Theresa Graboski Johnson. She graduated from Thermopolis High School. She married Lee Elwood Morehead on March 28, 1956. A military wife, she was accustomed to living in various places. The couple lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado for many years. Suzanne was employed they the Air Force Academy at a Youth Activity Director. In 1981 she established a business of creating awards and plaques as well as ribbon awards for County and State Fairs.
She loved being a grandma. In her early years she enjoyed playing league darts. She enjoyed cooking, a good love story and Hallmark movies.
Cherishing her memory is her daughter, Margaret Dippel, of Nebraska; grandchildren, Tonya, Danielle, Sammy Jo, Tealia and Braxton; and several great and great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lee, sisters, Mary, Norma and Irma and sons, Kenneth and Paul.
A private family memorial service will be held in the spring in Colorado. Memorials may be made to H.S.Co. 4-H, 328 Arapahoe, Thermopolis, 82443
