Tyler was born in Great Falls, MT on May 19, 1974. He moved to Thermopolis in 1977 with his family to attend the Big Horn Basin Childrens’ Center.
Though Tyler had cerebral palsy he never let his disability get in the way of living a full and happy life. Tyler was an accomplished wheelchair racing competitor and fisherman. He worked alongside his parents at the Corner Drug as well as with his mother at Pinnacle Bank. He rooted for the Denver Broncos, Chicago Cubs and Wyoming Cowboys with a passion and loved to spend his time playing Madden football, Wii Golf and card games.
Tyler was a gift to the world. He always had a smile on his face coupled with a hilarious demeanor. His unique perspective on life was both humbling and inspiring.
Yet, just as Tyler was a gift to our community, our community was a gift to him. The people of Thermopolis immediately embraced Tyler and lovingly supported him his entire life.
Tyler is survived by his father, Mitch, brothers Toby and Travis, sisters-in-law, Liz and Heather, nephews Chris, Michael, Skyler and Gunner as well as his niece Jacque. He was preceded in death by his mother, Georganne, in 2013.
A memorial in Tyler’s name has been established through St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Thermopolis at 10:00 am, Thursday, October 20, 2016. A luncheon will follow.
