Violet Elaine Lee, 89, passed away February 6, 2020, at the Worland Healthcare & Rehab Center where she had resided since July 2017.
Born April 22, 1930 in Seminole, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Russell and Hope (Tansy) Toler. After high school, she attended the Anderson Beauty School in Billings, Montana.
On July 12, 1950 Violet married Harold “Buck” Lee in Casper, Wyoming. The couple moved to Thermopolis, Wyoming in 1955 where they raised their children.
For 40 years, Violet was the local Avon Lady. Being a people person she enjoyed her years of beautifying Thermopolis and ladies in the area. She enjoyed bowling, cards, traveling, camping and was a seamstress. She was a member of the Birthday Club and active member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Jeff (Rene) Lee, Worland, and Jo Ellen Argento, Powell; sister, Elizabeth Stines; son-in-law, Mike Farmer; grandchildren, Kari (Paul) Keller, Erin (Eric) Agee, Candace (Randy) Capelle, Shauna Farmer, Brad (Bel) Christiansen, Krista and Breann Christiansen, and eight great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Buck (2003), daughter, Vivian Farmer and siblings, Gordon Toler, Margie Howell, Lola Essex, Ella Martin and Louise Wheaton.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020, 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Harvey Seidel officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
