William Francis Castle, Jr

William Francis “Bill” Castle, Jr , 80, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital.

Born August 14, 1939 in Santa Monica, California, he was the son of William and Margaret (Underwood) Castle.  Following high school he served in the US Navy.

Bill was employed by the City of Longmont until he retired.

In 1967 he married Diane Sue Snyder in Boulder, Colorado. To this union was born three children. The couple lived in the Longmont, Colorado area until moving to Thermopolis in 1997.

Bill enjoyed fixing anything mechanical, fishing, hunting, birds and raised turkeys, geese and ducks.  He was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his son, Robert “Bob” (Windy) Castle of Longmont, daughter, Elizabeth Oliver of Thermopolis; grandchildren, Bradley, Mathew, Gino, Vinchinzo, Luciano and Charlee and two great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Diane in 2017, and son, Charles “Tony” Castle.
